What a fantastic event, with upto 15 Australians competing - not to mention 7 New Zealand reps in the Under 17 Girls, the fields were of excellent quality. Under 17 Boys was well contested with numerous NZ reps competing. The weather was atrocious, winds high, perfect for racing in LYCRA !!!!

Full Cycle riders too compete were Regan Sheath, Sophie Williamson, Racquel Sheath, Dion Smith, Reon Sheath, Chloe Harding-Sheath.

In the Under 15 boys, reon was very competitive until he was diagnosed with hypothermia and was pulled from his bike at Tuatapere.

In the Under 17 Girls the racing was extremely competitive with Sophie Williamson picking up 2nd place overall. Racquel Sheath gaining 4th overall.

In the Under 17 Boys, Dion Smith gained some excellent results throughout the stages.

In the Under 19 Women, Chloe Harding-Sheath finished 4th.
